Full-time Nature & Wildlife Advocate
Using photography and advocacy to inspire people to care for the natural world and the wildlife we share it with.
I have been a wildlife photographer and conservationist for nearly two decades, traveling across multiple continents and countries to document the rich wildlife found in these places and to advocate for their protection and survival.
My work is grounded in a simple yet enduring truth: we protect what we love. Through my photographs, I tell stories about the many wildlife species I care deeply about, with the hope of ensuring that these animals, birds, and their habitats are preserved for generations to come.

We must become the voice of the voiceless. Wildlife and ecosystems are counting on us to be their last hope.
I've always felt that I am more of a storyteller than a photographer. I don't believe in perfection in photographs; rather, I believe in photographs that tell the story of what's actually happening. Real life is what you see in the field.
In the state of Florida, I have been photographing wildlife for the past 17 years. During that time, I have witnessed an incredible loss of habitat, which in turn has led to the loss of native wildlife.
When I first arrived, I remember looking at the skies in Lakeland and seeing thousands of white pelicans flying overhead, their wings flapping with the sound of a million feathers above you. It felt as if you were in the midst of their flock. The sky was filled with birds in formation, and people from all over the world stood looking up, speechless. A photograph could never fully capture those moments.
Loss of habitat and species happens gradually, as we passively watch. Where I once saw 38 osprey nests, I am now lucky to spot six. Manatees were regular companions on my trips to the barrier islands; now, in contrast, I have seen only one in two seasons crossing the channel.
For 17 years, I have been filming, photographing, and writing about the great losses in my state of Florida. This is just a small case study. We, as human beings, must become the voice of the voiceless. Wildlife and ecosystems are counting on us to be their last hope—their advocates.
I have poured all my passion into this mission. Please join me in speaking up and doing our best to make a difference.
